Hepalup Dn Tab is used for this medicine is used. Prescription required.
This medicine is used in the treatment of cough, chest congestion, common cold symptoms, nutritional deficiency, support during recovery, antioxidant supplementation, vitamin b deficiency, nerve pain and tingling, anaemia, tiredness due to deficiency, vitamin d deficiency, low calcium, osteoporosis, bone health, liver disorders, fatty liver, support of liver function, protein supplementation, nutritional support, recovery and convalescence, high triglycerides, dietary supplementation and heart health support.
This medicine combines 12 active ingredients: Acetylcysteine, Vitamin c, Zinc, Folic Acid, Vitamin b, Vitamin e, Vitamin d, Silymarin, L-carnitine L-tartrate, L-glutathione, L-ornithine and Lecithin. Acetylcysteine loosens and thins the mucus in your airways so a cough clears it more easily, and eases the tightness that comes with congestion. Vitamin c supplies a nutrient that helps protect body cells from everyday oxidative wear and supports normal immune function. Zinc supplies a nutrient that helps protect body cells from everyday oxidative wear and supports normal immune function. Folic Acid replaces a B vitamin your body needs to make red blood cells, to keep nerves healthy and to release energy from food. Vitamin b replaces a B vitamin your body needs to make red blood cells, to keep nerves healthy and to release energy from food. Vitamin e supplies a nutrient that helps protect body cells from everyday oxidative wear and supports normal immune function. Vitamin d helps your gut absorb calcium and keeps the mineral level in your blood and bones where it should be. Silymarin supports the liver cells and helps the flow of bile. L-carnitine L-tartrate supplies protein and amino acids, the building blocks your body uses to repair and maintain muscle and tissue. L-glutathione supplies a nutrient that helps protect body cells from everyday oxidative wear and supports normal immune function. L-ornithine supplies protein and amino acids, the building blocks your body uses to repair and maintain muscle and tissue. Lecithin supplies omega-3 fatty acids, which help lower blood triglyceride levels.
Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not chew, crush or break it unless your doctor has told you to. Take it with or after food. Taking it at about the same time each day helps you remember. Follow the dose and the duration written on your prescription.
Nausea, Vomiting, Stomach upset, Drowsiness, Tremor, Fast heartbeat, Metallic taste, Loose motions, Harmless bright yellow urine, Constipation, Bloating, Stomach discomfort, Flatulence, Fishy aftertaste or burps, Indigestion
See a doctor if a cough lasts more than a week, or comes with fever, breathlessness, chest pain or blood in the sputum. Do not give cough and cold preparations to young children except on a doctor's advice. Do not combine two cough preparations — they frequently contain the same ingredients, and the doses add up. Preparations containing codeine can cause dependence and must be used only for the period your doctor specifies. A supplement supports a normal diet; it does not prevent or treat infection. Zinc on an empty stomach commonly causes nausea — take it with food. Very high doses of vitamin A over a long period can be harmful, particularly in pregnancy. Do not take several products containing the same nutrient at once; the totals add up. Tingling, numbness or burning in the hands and feet should be assessed by a doctor rather than self-treated — a supplement does not address the cause. Folic acid can mask a vitamin B12 deficiency while nerve damage continues, so B12 should be checked before taking folic acid long term. Bright yellow urine after a B-complex dose is expected and harmless. Do not take more than your doctor has advised. Vitamin D builds up in the body and too much raises blood calcium, causing thirst, frequent urination, nausea and confusion. High-dose weekly or monthly sachets are prescription strengths — do not repeat one because you missed a week. Tell your doctor if you have had kidney stones or have kidney disease. A liver supplement does not treat the cause of liver disease. Alcohol, weight, viral hepatitis and medicines are what have to be addressed. Stop alcohol completely if you have any liver condition. Report yellowing of the eyes or skin, dark urine, swelling of the abdomen or confusion without delay. Keep your liver function tests and follow-up appointments. Tell your doctor before taking a protein supplement if you have kidney disease — the protein load matters. Drink plenty of water while taking a protein supplement. Check the label for milk or soy if you have an allergy or are lactose intolerant. Tell your doctor if you take a blood thinner — high doses of omega-3 can add to its effect. Check the source if you have a fish or shellfish allergy.
Sedating ingredients add to the effect of alcohol and sleeping tablets. Decongestants such as phenylephrine and pseudoephedrine can raise blood pressure — tell your doctor if you are hypertensive. Zinc and other minerals reduce the absorption of some antibiotics — separate them by a few hours. Tell your doctor if you take a blood thinner, as high-dose vitamin E can add to its effect. Long-term metformin, acid-reducing medicines and some anti-epileptics lower B12 or folate levels. Tell your doctor if you take levodopa, as vitamin B6 can reduce its effect. Calcium reduces the absorption of thyroid tablets, several antibiotics and iron — separate them by a few hours. Water tablets of the thiazide group raise calcium further when combined. Tell your doctor about every medicine and supplement you take — the liver processes most of them. No significant medicine interactions are expected for most protein supplements. May add to the effect of blood thinners and antiplatelet medicines.
