Isonorm 60 SR Tablet

Isonorm 60 SR Tablet contains Isosorbide Mononitrate (60mg) and is used for angina (heart-related chest pain). Prescription required.

Treatment of Angina (heart-related chest pain)

Isonorm 60 SR Tablet is a nitrate. It dilates peripheral arteries and veins. Dilation of the veins promotes peripheral pooling of blood and decreases venous return to the heart, thereby reducing the workload of the heart. As a result, the heart muscle does not need as much blood and oxygen supply.

Use it as advised by your doctor or check the label for directions before use. Isonorm 60 SR Tablet may be taken with or without food.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Do not stop or change the dose of a heart medicine on your own. Report fainting, a very slow or very fast pulse, or new breathlessness. Keep every follow-up appointment — most of these medicines need periodic blood tests or an ECG.
