Lornit 150 mg Tablet contains L-Ornithine L-Aspartate (150mg) and is used for liver disease. Prescription required.

Treatment of Liver disease

Lornit 150 Tablet lowers blood ammonia levels by supporting the body’s natural detoxification pathways. Ornithine acts as a key substrate in the urea cycle in liver cells, helping convert toxic ammonia into urea for safe excretion. Aspartate supports the formation of glutamate, which then combines with ammonia to form glutamine in liver and muscle tissues. Through these urea and glutamine synthesis pathways, L-Ornithine L-Aspartate reduces ammonia accumulation and helps protect brain function in liver disease.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Lornit 150 Tablet may be taken with or without food.

A liver supplement does not treat the cause of liver disease. Alcohol, weight, viral hepatitis and medicines are what have to be addressed. Stop alcohol completely if you have any liver condition. Report yellowing of the eyes or skin, dark urine, swelling of the abdomen or confusion without delay. Keep your liver function tests and follow-up appointments.
