Macikad Tablet

Macikad Tablet contains Macitentan (10mg) and is used for macikad 10 mg. Prescription required.

Macikad 10 mg Tablet is used in the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH).

Macikad 10 mg Tablet is an endothelin receptor blocker. It blocks the action of endothelin (a natural substance) that causes blood vessels to narrow (constrict). This narrowing increases the pressure in the blood vessels of the lungs. Macikad 10 mg Tablet helps relax these blood vessels and increases the supply of blood to the lungs.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Macikad 10 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Do not stop or change the dose of a heart medicine on your own. Report fainting, a very slow or very fast pulse, or new breathlessness. Keep every follow-up appointment — most of these medicines need periodic blood tests or an ECG.

Heart medicines interact widely. Tell your doctor and pharmacist about everything you take, including herbal products.

Store below 30°C in the original pack, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
