Used to treat or prevent vitamin D deficiency and support bone health; may be prescribed as supplementation in osteoporosis/osteopenia, low calcium/vitamin D states and muscle cramps related to deficiency.

Vitamin D3 increases intestinal absorption of calcium and phosphate and helps mineralization of bone. Magnesium supports normal parathyroid hormone function and vitamin D metabolism, helping maintain neuromuscular function and bone health.

Take as advised by your doctor. Typically taken orally after food; swallow tablets/capsules whole with water. If the kit contains multiple tablets/capsules, follow the kit schedule/label for which unit to take on which day (often once weekly for vitamin D 60,000 IU).

Nausea, abdominal discomfort, constipation, diarrhea, vomiting, headache

Do not use without medical advice if you have high calcium levels (hypercalcemia), kidney stones, severe kidney disease, sarcoidosis or hypervitaminosis D. Use with caution in renal impairment; periodic monitoring of calcium, phosphate, magnesium and vitamin D may be needed with high-dose/long-term use. Stop and seek medical help if symptoms of high calcium occur (excess thirst, frequent urination, confusion, weakness).

Thiazide diuretics (may increase hypercalcemia risk), digoxin (arrhythmia risk with high calcium), antiepileptics like phenytoin/carbamazepine (reduce vitamin D effect), corticosteroids (reduce vitamin D effect), orlistat/cholestyramine (reduce absorption), bisphosphonates/levothyroxine/tetracyclines/fluoroquinolones (separate dosing due to reduced absorption with minerals), aluminum-containing antacids (risk in kidney disease)

Store below 25°C in a dry place, protected from light and moisture. Keep in original pack and out of reach of children.
