Megacor Capsule contains Eicosapentaenoic Acid (465mg) + Docosahexaenoic Acid (375mg) and is used for this medicine is used.
This medicine is used in the treatment of high triglycerides, dietary supplementation and heart health support.
This medicine combines 2 active ingredients: Eicosapentaenoic Acid and Docosahexaenoic Acid. Eicosapentaenoic Acid supplies omega-3 fatty acids, which help lower blood triglyceride levels. Docosahexaenoic Acid supplies omega-3 fatty acids, which help lower blood triglyceride levels.
Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water. Do not chew, crush or break it unless your doctor has told you to. Take it with food. Taking it at about the same time each day helps you remember. Follow the dose and the duration written on your prescription.
Fishy aftertaste or burps, Nausea, Loose motions, Indigestion
Tell your doctor if you take a blood thinner — high doses of omega-3 can add to its effect. Check the source if you have a fish or shellfish allergy.
May add to the effect of blood thinners and antiplatelet medicines.
