Allergic rhinitis (seasonal/perennial) with symptoms like sneezing, runny/blocked nose, itching and watery eyes; adjunct in allergy-related cough/wheezing as advised by doctor

Montelukast is a leukotriene receptor antagonist that blocks leukotrienes responsible for airway inflammation, mucus and allergy symptoms. Levocetirizine is a second‑generation antihistamine that blocks H1 receptors to reduce sneezing, itching, watery eyes and runny nose.

Take orally as prescribed, usually 1 tablet once daily in the evening or at bedtime; can be taken with or without food. Swallow whole with water; do not exceed the prescribed dose.

Sleepiness/drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, fatigue, headache, abdominal pain, nausea

May cause drowsiness—avoid driving or operating machinery if affected. Use with caution in liver disease. Montelukast has been associated with mood/behavior changes (agitation, anxiety, depression, abnormal dreams, suicidal thoughts)—seek medical help if these occur. Not meant for acute asthma attack relief. Consult doctor for children, elderly, or if symptoms persist.

Alcohol (increases drowsiness), sedatives/CNS depressants, other antihistamines, rifampicin/phenytoin/phenobarbital (may reduce montelukast levels), gemfibrozil (may increase montelukast levels)

Store below 25°C in a dry place, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
