Before you take it
Montek FX Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Montek FX Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.

Montek FX Tablet is used in the treatment of sneezing and runny nose due to allergies.
Montelukast is a leukotriene antagonist. It works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger called leukotriene. This reduces inflammation (swelling) in the airways and nose and improves symptoms. Fexofenadine is an antiallergic which blocks the action of another chemical messenger (histamine) responsible for runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Montek FX Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
