Gel
Relief of pain and inflammation in musculoskeletal conditions such as sprains, strains, sports injuries, tendonitis, back/neck pain, and localized arthritis-related pain
Naproxen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). When applied to the skin, it reduces the formation of prostaglandins at the site of application, thereby decreasing pain, swelling, and inflammation with minimal systemic absorption compared to oral NSAIDs.
For external use only. Apply a thin layer to the affected area and gently rub in 2-3 times daily or as directed by a physician. Wash hands after use. Avoid application on broken/irritated skin, near eyes/mouth, and avoid occlusive dressings unless advised.
Application site irritation, redness, itching, burning/stinging, rash, dryness
Do not use if allergic to naproxen/other NSAIDs (or history of aspirin-induced asthma/urticaria). Avoid use on open wounds, infected or eczematous skin. Stop and seek medical advice if severe skin reaction, worsening pain/swelling, or signs of allergy occur. Use with caution in pregnancy (especially third trimester) and in patients with active peptic ulcer/bleeding disorders if large areas are treated for long durations. Avoid excessive sunlight/UV exposure on treated area if rash occurs.
Additive NSAID effects if used along with oral NSAIDs/aspirin; increased bleeding risk with anticoagulants/antiplatelets (theoretical with extensive use); caution with other topical irritants/keratolytics on same area
Store below 25°C, tightly closed. Protect from heat and direct light. Keep out of reach of children.
