Nefita 2ml Injection is a combination of four medicines: methylcobalamin, pyridoxine hydrochloride, folic acid, and niacinamide. Methylcobalamin, the active form of vitamin B12, supports the synthesis of myelin (the protective covering of nerves) and aids in red blood cell production and DNA synthesis. Pyridoxine (vitamin B6) acts as a coenzyme in protein and neurotransmitter metabolism, supporting proper nerve and brain function. Folic acid is crucial for DNA synthesis, cell division, and the formation of healthy red blood cells. Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) supports cellular energy production by participating in oxidation-reduction reactions within cells. Together, these vitamins address nutritional deficiencies, support nerve regeneration, improve blood health, and restore metabolic balance in the body.

Tingling, numbness or burning in the hands and feet should be assessed by a doctor rather than self-treated — a supplement does not address the cause. Folic acid can mask a vitamin B12 deficiency while nerve damage continues, so B12 should be checked before taking folic acid long term. Bright yellow urine after a B-complex dose is expected and harmless. Do not take high-dose vitamin B6 for long periods without medical advice — sustained excess can cause nerve damage.

Long-term metformin, acid-reducing medicines and some anti-epileptics lower B12 or folate levels. Tell your doctor if you take levodopa, as vitamin B6 can reduce its effect.
