Nimodol Plus Tablet

Nimodol Plus Tablet contains Nimesulide (100mg) + Paracetamol (325mg) and is used for pain relief.

Nimodol Plus 100mg/325mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Nimesulide and Paracetamol. It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause fever, pain, and inflammation (redness and swelling).

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Nimodol Plus 100mg/325mg Tablet should be taken with or after food.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Take it with or just after food, and for the shortest time that works. Stop and seek urgent care for black or tarry stools, vomiting blood, or severe stomach pain — this group can cause bleeding from the stomach. Long or high-dose use raises the risk of heart attack, stroke and kidney injury, particularly in older people and those already at risk. Avoid if you are dehydrated or have an illness with vomiting or loose motions — the kidneys are vulnerable then. Must be avoided in the last three months of pregnancy. Nimesulide must not be given to children under twelve, and courses are restricted to a few days because of the risk of liver injury. Stop and see a doctor at once if you notice yellowing of the eyes or skin, dark urine or persistent nausea. Never exceed the daily maximum printed on the pack. Paracetamol overdose damages the liver, and the damage can be silent for a day or two before it becomes serious. Check every other medicine you are taking. Paracetamol is in a very large number of cold, flu and pain combinations, and the doses add together. If you drink alcohol regularly, or have liver disease, ask your doctor what daily limit is safe for you. See a doctor if fever lasts more than three days, or pain more than five.

Combining with a blood thinner or aspirin sharply raises the bleeding risk. Reduces the effect of blood pressure medicines and water tablets, and together with them can harm the kidneys. Never take two anti-inflammatory painkillers at the same time. Regular alcohol use increases the risk of liver injury. Tell your doctor if you are on warfarin — regular high-dose paracetamol can affect it.

Store below 30°C in the original pack, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
