Sebifin Plus Cream

Sebifin Plus Cream contains Terbinafine (1%w/w) + Mometasone (0.1%w/w). Prescription required.

Fungal skin infections with inflammation/itching such as tinea corporis (ringworm), tinea cruris (jock itch) and tinea pedis (athlete’s foot) where a doctor advises combined antifungal + anti-inflammatory treatment

Terbinafine is an allylamine antifungal that inhibits squalene epoxidase, blocking ergosterol synthesis and causing fungal cell death. Mometasone is a topical corticosteroid that reduces inflammation, redness and itching by suppressing inflammatory mediators.

For external use only. Clean and dry the affected area, then apply a thin layer once daily or as prescribed. Use for the shortest duration needed; avoid covering with tight occlusive dressings unless advised. Wash hands after use; avoid eyes, mouth and broken skin.

Use only under medical advice as it contains a steroid. Do not use on face, groin or armpits for prolonged periods, or on acne/rosacea/perioral dermatitis. Prolonged/overuse may cause skin thinning, stretch marks, steroid-induced fungal worsening (tinea incognito), discoloration or secondary infection. Avoid in children unless prescribed. Stop and consult a doctor if no improvement, worsening, or signs of allergy occur.

No major systemic interactions expected with topical use; however avoid using with other topical corticosteroids/irritants on the same area unless advised. Occlusive dressings can increase steroid absorption.

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place away from direct light. Do not freeze. Keep cap tightly closed and out of reach of children.
