Sefstart Capsule

Sefstart Capsule contains Folic Acid (5mg) + Methylcobalamin (1500mcg) + Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (1.5mg) + Docosahexanoic acid(DHA) (200mg) and is used for nutritional deficiencies.

Treatment of Nutritional deficiencies

Sefstart Capsule is a combination of vitamin B9, B12, B6, and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). Folic acid is essential for production of red blood cells. It prevents and treats folate deficiency and anemia. When taken by pregnant women, Folic acid prevents miscarriage, preterm labor, and neural tube defects in infants. Methylcobalamin corrects vitamin B12 deficiency thereby helping in treating certain anemias and nerve problems. Pyridoxine hydrochloride treats or prevents deficiency of vitamin B6 and improves functioning of nervous and immune systems. DHA is vital for the growth and functional development of the brain in baby. In adults, Ii is also needed for maintenance of normal brain function. DHA improves learning ability, whereas deficiencies of DHA are associated with deficits in learning.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Sefstart Capsule may be taken with or without food.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Tingling, numbness or burning in the hands and feet should be assessed by a doctor rather than self-treated — a supplement does not address the cause. Folic acid can mask a vitamin B12 deficiency while nerve damage continues, so B12 should be checked before taking folic acid long term. Bright yellow urine after a B-complex dose is expected and harmless. Do not take high-dose vitamin B6 for long periods without medical advice — sustained excess can cause nerve damage. Tell your doctor if you take a blood thinner — high doses of omega-3 can add to its effect. Check the source if you have a fish or shellfish allergy.

Long-term metformin, acid-reducing medicines and some anti-epileptics lower B12 or folate levels. Tell your doctor if you take levodopa, as vitamin B6 can reduce its effect. May add to the effect of blood thinners and antiplatelet medicines.

Store below 30°C in the original pack, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
