Sorliv Liquid contains Tricholine Citrate + Sorbitol and is used for this medicine is used.

This medicine is used in the treatment of liver disorders, fatty liver, support of liver function, constipation and bowel preparation.

This medicine combines 2 active ingredients: Tricholine Citrate and Sorbitol. Tricholine Citrate supports the liver cells and helps the flow of bile. Sorbitol softens the stool and encourages the bowel to move, making it easier to pass.

Shake the bottle well before each dose and measure it with the cup, spoon or dropper supplied — a kitchen spoon is not an accurate measure. Take it with or after food. Follow the dose and the duration written on your prescription.

A liver supplement does not treat the cause of liver disease. Alcohol, weight, viral hepatitis and medicines are what have to be addressed. Stop alcohol completely if you have any liver condition. Report yellowing of the eyes or skin, dark urine, swelling of the abdomen or confusion without delay. Keep your liver function tests and follow-up appointments. Drink plenty of water while taking any laxative, particularly the fibre-based ones — without it they can make constipation worse. Do not use stimulant laxatives daily over long periods without medical advice; the bowel becomes reliant on them. See a doctor if constipation is new and persistent in an adult over forty, or comes with blood, weight loss or severe pain.

Tell your doctor about every medicine and supplement you take — the liver processes most of them. Laxatives can reduce the absorption of other medicines taken at the same time.

Store below 30°C, away from direct sunlight. Do not freeze. Once opened, use it within the period printed on the pack. Keep out of the reach of children.
