Tablet
Calcium and vitamin/mineral supplementation, prevention and treatment of calcium/vitamin D deficiency, support in osteoporosis/osteopenia and fracture healing, nutritional support in pregnancy/lactation (as advised), neuropathy due to vitamin B12/folate deficiency (adjunct).
Calcium citrate malate provides elemental calcium for bone mineralization, while vitamin D3 enhances intestinal absorption of calcium and phosphate. Magnesium and zinc support bone and muscle function. Methylcobalamin, L-methylfolate and pyridoxal-5-phosphate replenish active B-vitamins required for nerve function and red blood cell formation.
Oral tablet. Take 1 tablet once daily or as directed by physician, preferably after food; swallow whole with water. Keep a gap of 2–4 hours from thyroid medicines, iron, tetracycline/quinolone antibiotics, or bisphosphonates.
Nausea, stomach upset, constipation, diarrhea, bloating, metallic taste, headache
Do not use in hypercalcemia, hypervitaminosis D, severe renal impairment, kidney stones, or known allergy to ingredients. Use with caution in patients with renal disease and those taking other calcium/vitamin D products to avoid overdose. Excess intake may cause hypercalcemia (symptoms: vomiting, constipation, confusion, increased thirst/urination); seek medical help if suspected.
Levothyroxine (reduced absorption), tetracyclines/fluoroquinolones (reduced antibiotic absorption), bisphosphonates (reduced absorption), thiazide diuretics (increased hypercalcemia risk), digoxin (arrhythmia risk with hypercalcemia), iron salts (mutual absorption interference), antacids/laxatives containing magnesium (additive effects)
