Teczine M Syp

Teczine M Syp contains Levocetirizine (2.5mg/5ml) and is used for relief of allergy symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, itchy/watery eyes, nasal itching.

Relief of allergy symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, itchy/watery eyes, nasal itching; treatment of urticaria (hives) and pruritus (itching) due to allergic conditions.

Cetirizine is a second-generation antihistamine that blocks peripheral H1 receptors. It reduces the effects of histamine responsible for allergy symptoms like itching, sneezing and runny nose, with relatively less sedation than older antihistamines.

Oral syrup. Use as prescribed by a doctor; measure dose with a calibrated spoon/cup. Can be taken with or without food; take at the same time each day. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, fatigue, headache, nausea, abdominal discomfort

May cause sleepiness in some people—avoid driving/operating machinery if affected. Use with caution in kidney disease (dose adjustment may be needed). Consult a doctor before use in young children, during breastfeeding, or if you have liver disease. Stop and seek medical help if allergic reaction occurs.

Alcohol, other CNS depressants/sedatives (e.g., benzodiazepines, opioids), other antihistamines; theophylline may reduce cetirizine clearance (usually mild).

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place away from direct light. Keep bottle tightly closed. Keep out of reach of children.
