Monograph
The Derma Co Vitamin C Gel Daily Face Wash contains Vitamin C (as 2% Vitamin C complex).
Daily facial cleanser for removal of excess oil, dirt and pollutants; helps brighten dull skin and improve uneven skin tone; suitable for acne-prone/oily skin as a gentle gel face wash.
A gel-based surfactant system lifts and removes impurities and excess sebum from the skin surface. Vitamin C acts as an antioxidant that helps reduce oxidative stress from pollution and supports a brighter, more even-looking complexion with regular use.
For external use only. Wet face, take a small amount, gently massage over face for 20–30 seconds avoiding eyes, then rinse thoroughly and pat dry. Use 1–2 times daily; follow with moisturizer and sunscreen in daytime.
Dryness, mild stinging, redness, irritation, tightness, allergic reaction (rare)
Patch test before first use. Avoid contact with eyes; rinse with water if contact occurs. Stop use if severe irritation, swelling or rash develops and consult a dermatologist. Use sunscreen during the day as brightening actives may increase sensitivity in some users. Keep out of reach of children.
No clinically significant drug interactions expected for a rinse-off cosmetic cleanser. If using other potentially irritating actives (retinoids, AHAs/BHAs, benzoyl peroxide), introduce gradually and monitor for irritation.
Store at room temperature (below 30°C), away from direct sunlight and excessive heat. Keep cap tightly closed; do not freeze.
