Tropine Injection

Tropine Injection contains Atropine (0.6mg) and is used for bradycardia. Prescription required.

Bradycardia

Tropine 0.6mg Injection is an anticholinergic medication. It works by blocking the activity of a chemical messenger (acetylcholine). This helps dry up secretions (saliva, sweat, etc.) from glands before surgery, increases a low heart rate and decreases intestinal contractions (spasms). It also works as an antidote in certain types of poisoning and reverses the side effects of certain muscle relaxing medicines.

Injection to be administered by a qualified healthcare professional in a hospital/clinic setting. Dose and route depend on the formulation and indication.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them
