Probiotic drops used to help restore healthy gut flora; commonly used in diarrhoea (including antibiotic-associated diarrhoea), indigestion, bloating and abdominal discomfort.

Probiotics are beneficial microorganisms that help restore the normal balance of intestinal flora. They may inhibit harmful bacteria, improve gut barrier function and support digestion, thereby reducing diarrhoea and gastrointestinal discomfort.

Oral drops. Shake well before use. Use the dose as advised by the doctor; may be given with or after food. If taking with antibiotics, keep a gap of about 2 hours. Do not mix with hot food/drinks.

Flatulence, bloating, abdominal discomfort, nausea

Use with caution in patients with severely weakened immunity, critical illness, indwelling central venous catheter, or premature/very low birth weight infants (risk of rare bloodstream infection). Stop and consult a doctor if fever, persistent vomiting, blood in stools, dehydration, or diarrhoea lasts more than 48 hours. Not a substitute for oral rehydration solution (ORS) in acute diarrhoea.

Antibiotics (may reduce probiotic effect; separate dosing), Antifungals (may reduce effect if probiotic contains yeast such as Saccharomyces boulardii)

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct light and moisture. Follow label instructions for refrigeration after opening if mentioned. Keep out of reach of children.
