Urital Syrup

Urital Syrup contains Disodium Hydrogen Citrate (1.53gm) and is used for gout.

Urital 1.53gm Syrup is a urine alkalizer. It works by increasing the pH of urine which makes it less acidic. This helps the kidneys get rid of excess uric acid, thereby preventing urinary tract infections, gout and certain types of kidney stones.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Urital 1.53gm Syrup may be taken with or without food.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

This eases the symptoms; it does not treat a urinary infection. See a doctor if you have fever, back or flank pain, blood in the urine, or symptoms lasting more than a couple of days — an infection needs an antibiotic. Drink plenty of water throughout the day. Tell your doctor if you have kidney disease, heart failure or are on a salt-restricted diet; these preparations carry a sodium or potassium load.

Changing the acidity of urine affects how some medicines are cleared — tell your doctor what you take.

Store below 30°C, away from direct sunlight. Do not freeze. Once opened, use it within the period printed on the pack. Keep out of the reach of children.
