Productive cough, chest congestion, bronchitis-like symptoms, sore throat/upper respiratory tract irritation, supportive relief in common cold with mucus

Vasaka contains alkaloids such as vasicine/vasicinone that help loosen and expel mucus (expectorant action) and may relieve bronchial spasm. It soothes irritated airways and supports easier breathing by reducing congestion.

Oral syrup. Shake well before use. Take the measured dose as advised on the label/physician; typically taken 2–3 times daily after food with lukewarm water. Use a measuring cup/spoon; do not exceed recommended dose.

If cough persists beyond 7 days, recurs, or is accompanied by fever, wheezing, shortness of breath, chest pain, or blood in sputum, consult a doctor. Use with caution in pregnancy and breastfeeding due to limited safety data and traditional uterotonic association of vasaka. Use with caution in people with gastritis/peptic ulcer. Stop use and seek medical help if allergic symptoms occur.

No well-established drug interactions; use caution if taking other cough/cold medicines, bronchodilators, or sedating antihistamines to avoid duplication of therapy. Consult doctor if on chronic medicines.

Store at room temperature (below 25°C), protected from light and moisture. Keep bottle tightly closed. Keep out of reach of children.
