Vilor F 100 Caps

Vilor F 100 Caps contains Fluconazole 100 mg (capsule). Prescription required.

Treatment of fungal infections such as vaginal candidiasis, oral/esophageal candidiasis, systemic candidiasis, cryptococcal infections (including meningitis), and other susceptible fungal infections as prescribed.

Fluconazole is an azole antifungal that inhibits fungal CYP450 enzyme (14-alpha demethylase), reducing ergosterol synthesis. This disrupts the fungal cell membrane and stops fungal growth.

Capsule to be taken by mouth as directed by the doctor; swallow whole with water. Can be taken with or without food; take at the same time each day if prescribed for multiple days. Complete the full course.

Nausea, abdominal pain, diarrhea, headache, dizziness, skin rash, vomiting, increased liver enzymes

Use with caution in liver disease (may cause hepatitis/liver enzyme elevation) and in kidney impairment (dose adjustment may be needed). May prolong QT interval—use caution in heart rhythm disorders or with other QT-prolonging drugs. Stop and seek medical help if severe rash, blistering, jaundice, dark urine, or allergic reaction occurs. Not for self-medication; use only on prescription for appropriate fungal infections.

Warfarin/other anticoagulants (increased bleeding risk), phenytoin, carbamazepine, cyclosporine, tacrolimus, sulfonylureas (hypoglycemia risk), zidovudine, rifampicin, theophylline, statins (e.g., simvastatin/atorvastatin), benzodiazepines (e.g., midazolam), QT-prolonging drugs (e.g., amiodarone, certain macrolides/antipsychotics).

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place. Protect from moisture and direct light. Keep out of reach of children.
