Zimivir 500 Tablet is an antiviral medication. It prevents the multiplication of virus in human cells. This stops the virus from producing new viruses and clears up your infection.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Zimivir 500 Tablet may be taken with or without food.

Antivirals work best when started early — within the first day or two of symptoms for most infections. Complete the course exactly as prescribed; stopping early can allow the virus to become resistant. Drink plenty of water, particularly with aciclovir and its relatives.
