Zinc is an essential trace element required for many enzymes and proteins involved in immune function, growth, and tissue repair. Supplementation restores body zinc levels and helps normalize related metabolic and immune processes.
Take by mouth as directed by physician/dietitian. Generally taken once daily after food to reduce stomach upset; swallow with water. Avoid taking at the same time as iron, calcium, antacids, or dairy—keep a 2-hour gap.
