Broad-spectrum sunscreens, UV protection, and after-sun care for all skin types and tones.
Sunscreen is the single most important anti-aging and skin cancer prevention product. Daily sunscreen use reduces the risk of melanoma by 50% and prevents premature aging, dark spots, and sun damage.
Choose a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher that protects against both UVA and UVB rays. Physical (mineral) sunscreens containing zinc oxide or titanium dioxide sit on top of the skin, while chemical sunscreens absorb UV rays.
For Indian skin, look for sunscreens that don't leave a white cast and are lightweight enough for humid weather. Gel-based and fluid formulations work well in tropical climates. Reapply every 2-3 hours when outdoors.
