Routine · 6 steps, 4 essential
Cleanse, treat, protect: four D9 products in the order they go on
Dark spots fade slowly and come back fast in the sun. This routine uses D9's own products in the order they go on: a mild cleanser, a 10% niacinamide serum with tranexamic acid on the whole face, a steroid-free brightening cream on the spots, and a matt SPF 50 every morning. Give it eight to twelve weeks of daily use before you judge it.
A mild face wash with ceramide and niacinamide, so the actives that follow do not sting freshly stripped skin.
More optionsNiacinamide 10% with tranexamic acid 1%, for marks and uneven tone. A few drops after washing; start once a day, then morning and night once your skin is comfortable.
More optionsTranexamic acid, kojic acid, arbutin and glycolic acid, with no steroid. A pea-sized amount dabbed on dark spots only, morning and night.
More optionsSun brings spots back. Two finger-lengths for the face and neck as the last morning step, reapplied every three to four hours outdoors.
More optionsActives can leave skin dry. A small amount after the serum; skip it if your skin is oily.
More optionsLiposomal glutathione with vitamin C, taken by mouth for dullness. The research on oral glutathione for skin is small, so treat it as an extra, not a step you need.
