Ketorolac tromethamine 0.5% w/v ophthalmic solution
Relief of eye pain, burning, irritation and inflammation after eye surgery (e.g., cataract/refractive surgery); allergic conjunctivitis-related itching/inflammation (as prescribed).
Ketorolac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It inhibits cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzymes and reduces prostaglandin formation, thereby decreasing ocular inflammation, pain and itching.
For ophthalmic use only. Instill the prescribed number of drops into the affected eye(s) as directed by the doctor. Wash hands before use, avoid touching the dropper tip, and remove contact lenses before instillation (reinsert after at least 15 minutes if advised).
Common side effects of 4 QUIN KT EYE DROPS may include:
Do not use if allergic to ketorolac/other NSAIDs. Use with caution in patients with bleeding disorders or on anticoagulants (may increase risk of ocular bleeding), and in those with corneal epithelial defects/dry eye as prolonged use may delay healing or cause corneal complications. Avoid using with contact lenses during active inflammation unless advised. Seek care if severe eye pain, vision changes, persistent redness, discharge, or signs of infection occur.
