Paracetamol (650mg)
Fever (pyrexia), mild to moderate pain such as headache, body ache, toothache, sore throat, backache, muscle pain, pain associated with common cold/flu
Paracetamol inhibits prostaglandin synthesis in the central nervous system, which lowers fever and reduces pain perception. It has minimal anti-inflammatory action compared to NSAIDs.
Take orally with water as advised by a doctor. Can be taken with or without food (take after food if it causes stomach upset). Do not exceed the recommended dose or use multiple paracetamol-containing products together.
Common side effects of 99F 650 Tab may include:
Do not exceed total daily paracetamol dose (generally max 4,000 mg/day in adults; lower limits may apply). Use with caution in liver disease, chronic alcoholism, malnutrition, or dehydration. Seek medical help if overdose is suspected (risk of severe liver injury). If fever persists >3 days or pain >5 days, consult a doctor. Stop and seek care if allergic reactions occur (rash, swelling, breathing difficulty).

A substitute contains the same active ingredient (salt), in the same strength, as 99F 650 Tab. The medicine inside is the same — the brand name, manufacturer and price are what differ.
All medicines sold in India, branded or generic, must meet the quality standards set by the national drug regulator (CDSCO). A lower price does not mean lower quality.
Please confirm with your doctor or pharmacist before switching brands — they will check that the strength and form match your prescription.
