Composition of Acnemoist Cream

Acnemoist Cream contains Aloe vera extract, Vitamin E acetate, Squalene, Light liquid paraffin (emollient base). It belongs to the Topical emollient and skin protectant class of medicines.

How Acnemoist Cream works

It works mainly as an emollient and humectant moisturiser. Ingredients like squalene and paraffin form a protective barrier to reduce transepidermal water loss, while aloe vera and vitamin E provide soothing and antioxidant support.

How to take Acnemoist Cream

For external use only. Apply a thin layer over clean, dry face/affected area 1–2 times daily or as advised by a doctor. Can be used after anti-acne medications; avoid contact with eyes and broken skin.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

Take the missed dose of Acnemoist as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.

If you take too much

Taking more Acnemoist than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.

Side effects of Acnemoist Cream

Most side effects of Acnemoist are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:

Warnings and precautions

For external use only. Discontinue and consult a doctor if severe irritation, swelling or allergy occurs. Avoid use on infected/open wounds unless advised. If you have very sensitive skin or a history of contact dermatitis, patch test before regular use.

Interactions with other medicines

No significant drug interactions expected as this is a topical moisturiser; if used with topical acne actives (retinoids, benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid), apply moisturiser after the active or as directed to reduce irritation.

How to store Acnemoist Cream

Store at room temperature (below 25°C), away from heat and direct sunlight. Keep the cap tightly closed and protect from moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
