Fexofenadine hydrochloride 30 mg/5 ml oral suspension

Uses of Allegra Susp

Relief of symptoms of allergic rhinitis (sneezing, runny nose, itchy/watery eyes) and urticaria (hives, itching)

• •Reduces itching and watery eyes
• •Helps control hives (urticaria)
• •Non-sedating/less drowsy in most patients

How it works

Fexofenadine is a second-generation antihistamine that selectively blocks peripheral H1 receptors. This reduces the action of histamine released during allergic reactions, relieving sneezing, itching, watery eyes and hives with minimal sedation.

Directions for use

Oral suspension: shake well before use and measure with a dosing cup/syringe. Can be taken with or without food; take at the same time each day as prescribed. Avoid taking with fruit juices (apple/orange/grapefruit) close to the dose; keep a 2-hour gap from aluminium/magnesium antacids.
