How to take Antidep 75 Tablet

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

If you miss a dose of Antidep 75 Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.\n

Antidep 75 Tablet is used for the treatment of depression and bedwetting in children. The main dose should be taken at night as this medicine may produce drowsiness or sleepiness. You may be asked for regular blood tests to monitor the blood cell count or level of sodium and sugar in the blood. Inform your doctor if you notice behavioral changes, mood changes and suicidal thoughts while taking this medicine. Do not drive or do anything that requires concentration until you know how this medicine affects you. Do not stop taking the medication suddenly without talking to your doctor. The main dose should be taken at night as this medicine may produce drowsiness or sleepiness. It can take 2 to 3 weeks for Antidep 75 Tablet to start working. You should continue the treatment for at least 6 months after you feel better to stop depression from coming back. If your doctor asks you to stop Antidep 75 Tablet, you should reduce the dose slowly over 4 weeks. You should not discontinue it abruptly. Avoid driving or operating machinery as it may decrease alertness. Avoid consuming alcohol when taking the Antidep 75 Tablet, as it may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness. The addiction/dependence potential of Antidep 75 Tablet is very less. It may be extremely dangerous in overdose.
