How Arezy Nasal Spray works

If it contains a topical nasal decongestant (e.g., xylometazoline/oxymetazoline), it constricts blood vessels in the nasal lining. This reduces swelling and mucus formation, helping open the nasal passages and ease breathing.

How to take Arezy Nasal Spray

For intranasal use only. Blow the nose gently, keep head upright, insert nozzle and spray as directed on the label/prescription. Do not exceed recommended frequency; if it is a decongestant spray, usually use for short duration only (often up to 3 days) to avoid rebound congestion.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

Take the missed dose of Arezy Nasal as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.

If you take too much

Taking more Arezy Nasal than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.

Side effects of Arezy Nasal Spray

Most side effects of Arezy Nasal are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:

• Nasal dryness
• burning or stinging sensation
• sneezing
• irritation
• headache

Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.

Safety advice for Arezy Nasal Spray

Warnings and precautions

Do not use longer than recommended (risk of rebound congestion if decongestant). Consult a doctor before use in children, pregnancy/breastfeeding, or if you have uncontrolled hypertension, heart disease, hyperthyroidism, diabetes, glaucoma, enlarged prostate, or are using MAO inhibitors. Stop and seek advice if symptoms persist/worsen, nosebleeds occur, or severe irritation develops.

Interactions with other medicines

If it contains a sympathomimetic decongestant: MAO inhibitors (and within 14 days of stopping), tricyclic antidepressants, other decongestants/stimulants; may increase BP with antihypertensives

How to store Arezy Nasal Spray

Store at room temperature (below 25°C), protected from heat and direct light. Keep container tightly closed and avoid contamination of the nozzle.
