How Aurobrime S Eye Drops works

It contains an antibiotic that kills bacteria by interfering with essential bacterial processes, helping clear the infection and reduce discharge, redness and irritation. It works only against bacterial (not viral/allergic) eye conditions.

How to take Aurobrime S Eye Drops

For ophthalmic use only. Instill the prescribed number of drops into the affected eye(s) as advised by the doctor, usually 2–3 times daily. Wash hands before use, avoid touching the dropper tip, and keep the eye closed for 1–2 minutes after instillation. If using other eye medicines, keep a 5–10 minute gap.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

If you miss a dose of Aurobrime 2% Eye Drop, use it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

An overdose of this medicine is unlikely from eye use; flush the eye with clean water if too much is instilled. Do not wait for symptoms to appear — go to the nearest emergency department and take the pack or strip with you.

How to store Aurobrime S Eye Drops

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place away from direct light. Do not freeze. Keep the bottle tightly closed. Discard within 4 weeks of opening or as per label.

Expert advice for Aurobrime S Eye Drops

For best results, put one drop 2-3 times daily in the affected eye(s). Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute, immediately after instilling the drop. Remove contact lenses before using Aurobrime 2% Eye Drop and allow at least 15 minutes before reinserting them. Do not touch the tip of the dropper to any surface or to your eye to avoid contaminating the eye drops. Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering the next medication in the same eye to avoid dilution. Aurobrime 2% Eye Drop may cause short-term blurring of vision when first used. Use caution before driving or using machines. It may cause a temporary burning or itching sensation in the eye. Inform your doctor if this does not go away. Make sure to use it within 4 weeks of opening the bottle.
