Uses of Bilahist M Tab

Allergic rhinitis (seasonal/perennial) and urticaria (hives), including itching and skin wheals

• •Relieves sneezing and runny nose due to allergic rhinitis
• •Reduces watery/itchy eyes
• •Controls hives and skin itching
• •Non-drowsy/less sedating in most patients

How it works

Bilastine is a second-generation antihistamine that selectively blocks peripheral H1 histamine receptors. This reduces allergy symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, watery eyes, itching and hives, with minimal sedation compared to older antihistamines.

Directions for use

Tablet for oral use. Usually taken once daily as directed by a doctor. Take on an empty stomach (at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after food) and avoid taking with fruit juice (e.g., grapefruit/orange/apple) as it can reduce absorption.
