Cynomycin 100 mg Capsule contains Minocycline 100 mg (as minocycline hydrochloride) capsule. It belongs to the Tetracycline antibiotic class of medicines.

How Cynomycin 100 mg Capsule works

Minocycline is a tetracycline antibiotic that inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 30S ribosomal subunit. This blocks the addition of amino acids to the growing peptide chain, thereby stopping bacterial growth.

How to take Cynomycin 100 mg Capsule

Take the capsule exactly as prescribed by the doctor. Usually taken with a full glass of water; may be taken with food if stomach upset occurs. Avoid taking with milk/dairy, antacids, iron, calcium, magnesium or zinc supplements within 2 hours before/after; do not lie down for at least 30 minutes after dosing.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

Take it as soon as you remember. If your next dose is almost due, skip the one you missed — never take two doses together to catch up.

If you take too much
