Becotrol Capsule is a nutritional supplement containing four vitamins and calcium. Calcium is a vital mineral that plays a crucial role in maintaining strong bones and teeth. It is also essential for proper muscle function, nerve transmission, and cellular signaling throughout the body. Folic acid is a B vitamin that is essential for DNA synthesis, cell division, and red blood cell production. Methylcobalamin is a form of vitamin B12 that is crucial for nerve health, DNA synthesis, and red blood cell production. Pyridoxine treats and prevents the deficiency of vitamin B6 and improves the functioning of the nervous and immune systems. Vitamin D3 helps the body to absorb calcium from the intestines and regulate calcium levels in the blood.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Becotrol Capsule may be taken with or without food.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Do not take more than your doctor has advised. Vitamin D builds up in the body and too much raises blood calcium, causing thirst, frequent urination, nausea and confusion. High-dose weekly or monthly sachets are prescription strengths — do not repeat one because you missed a week. Tell your doctor if you have had kidney stones or have kidney disease. Tingling, numbness or burning in the hands and feet should be assessed by a doctor rather than self-treated — a supplement does not address the cause. Folic acid can mask a vitamin B12 deficiency while nerve damage continues, so B12 should be checked before taking folic acid long term. Bright yellow urine after a B-complex dose is expected and harmless. Do not take high-dose vitamin B6 for long periods without medical advice — sustained excess can cause nerve damage.

Calcium reduces the absorption of thyroid tablets, several antibiotics and iron — separate them by a few hours. Water tablets of the thiazide group raise calcium further when combined. Long-term metformin, acid-reducing medicines and some anti-epileptics lower B12 or folate levels. Tell your doctor if you take levodopa, as vitamin B6 can reduce its effect.
