Used for wound care to help clean (debride) and promote healing of infected or non-healing wounds such as ulcers, burns and postoperative wounds (as directed by doctor).
Debriding wound ointments typically help remove dead/necrotic tissue and reduce wound slough, keeping the wound bed clean to support granulation and healing. Exact mechanism depends on the active ingredient(s), which are not available for this product.
For external use only. Clean the wound as advised, apply a thin layer on the affected area/wound dressing 1–2 times daily or as directed by a doctor. Cover with sterile gauze if advised; wash hands before and after use.
Common side effects of Debridace Oint may include:
Do not apply to eyes, mouth or large areas unless advised. Stop and seek medical help if severe irritation, allergy, swelling or worsening pain/redness occurs. Use with caution in deep puncture wounds or serious burns unless under medical supervision. If you have diabetes/poor circulation or the wound is worsening/fever present, consult a doctor promptly.
