How Deep Senz works

How to take Deep Senz

For external use only. Apply a thin layer on the affected area and gently massage until absorbed, 2-3 times daily or as directed by a doctor. Wash hands after application; avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and broken/irritated skin.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

Take it as soon as you remember. If your next dose is almost due, skip the one you missed — never take two doses together to catch up.

If you take too much

An overdose of this medicine can cause deep drowsiness, confusion, unsteadiness and slowed breathing, especially with an opioid or alcohol. It is unlikely from skin use, but swallowing these preparations can be serious, particularly in children. It can cause stomach bleeding, kidney failure, drowsiness and fits. Do not wait for symptoms to appear — go to the nearest emergency department and take the pack or strip with you.

Warnings and precautions

Do not apply on broken skin, wounds, or near eyes/mucosa. Stop use and consult a doctor if severe irritation, rash, or allergic symptoms occur. Avoid tight bandaging or heat pads over the area unless advised. Use with caution in children, in people with known hypersensitivity to topical analgesics/NSAIDs, and in asthma/aspirin sensitivity (if the product contains an NSAID—check label). Seek medical advice if pain persists beyond 7-10 days.

Do not take Deep Senz if

Not for anyone with a known allergy to this medicine or to any ingredient in the pack. Not for use on broken, infected or badly inflamed skin. Not for people with an active stomach ulcer, severe kidney or heart failure, or asthma triggered by aspirin or anti-inflammatory painkillers. Not in the third trimester of pregnancy.

Interactions with other medicines

If the product contains a topical NSAID (e.g., diclofenac), concomitant use with other NSAIDs/aspirin or anticoagulants may increase bleeding risk (systemic absorption is low but possible). Avoid using multiple topical counterirritant products on the same area to reduce irritation.

Store below 25°C, tightly closed. Protect from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.

Take the larger part of the dose at night if drowsiness is a problem. Rise slowly from sitting or lying, especially in the first weeks. Keep your review appointment so the dose can be adjusted to the lowest that controls your pain. Use a small amount and rub it in well. See a doctor if the pain has not improved within the period stated on the pack. Use the lowest dose for the shortest period. If you need a painkiller regularly, see your doctor rather than continuing on your own. Paracetamol is the safer choice for simple fever and headache.
