Gliclazide (80mg) + Metformin (500mg)
Type 2 diabetes mellitus
Diabend-M Tablet is a combination of gliclazide and metformin. Gliclazide stimulates the pancreas to release more insulin, which helps lower the amount of glucose in the blood after meals. At the same time, Metformin reduces the production of glucose in the liver and improves the body’s response to insulin, allowing glucose to be utilized more efficiently by the muscles and other tissues. Together, they help maintain stable blood sugar levels throughout the day.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Diabend-M Tablet should be taken with or after food.

A substitute contains the same active ingredient (salt), in the same strength, as Diabend-M Tab. The medicine inside is the same — the brand name, manufacturer and price are what differ.
All medicines sold in India, branded or generic, must meet the quality standards set by the national drug regulator (CDSCO). A lower price does not mean lower quality.
Please confirm with your doctor or pharmacist before switching brands — they will check that the strength and form match your prescription.
