Treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults when diet, exercise and weight reduction alone are insufficient; helps control blood glucose levels.

How it works

Gliclazide is a sulfonylurea antidiabetic that stimulates insulin release from pancreatic beta cells by closing ATP-sensitive potassium channels. The modified-release formulation provides a prolonged effect to help maintain stable blood glucose control.

Directions for use

Oral tablet (modified release). Typically taken once daily with breakfast; swallow whole with water—do not crush, chew, or split. Use exactly as prescribed and monitor blood glucose regularly; avoid skipping meals.
