Composition

Dried Aluminium Hydroxide Gel IP 250 mg + Magnesium Hydroxide IP 250 mg + Simethicone USP 50 mg (per tablet)

Uses of Digene Mint Tablet

Relief of acidity, heartburn, acid indigestion, gastritis-related discomfort, sour belching and bloating/flatulence due to excess gas

How it works

Aluminium hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide neutralize excess stomach acid and reduce irritation of the stomach lining. Simethicone breaks down gas bubbles in the gut, easing bloating and discomfort.

Directions for use

Chew the tablet thoroughly and swallow; do not swallow whole. Commonly taken after meals and at bedtime or as directed by a doctor. Keep a gap of at least 2 hours from other medicines.

Warnings & precautions

Seek medical help if symptoms persist beyond 1–2 weeks, or if you have severe abdominal pain, vomiting blood, black stools, unexplained weight loss, or difficulty swallowing. May reduce absorption of many medicines—separate dosing.
