Duloxetine 30 mg (as duloxetine hydrochloride) tablet/capsule
Treatment of major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, diabetic peripheral neuropathic pain, fibromyalgia, chronic musculoskeletal pain (as prescribed).
Duloxetine is a serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI). It increases levels of serotonin and norepinephrine in the brain and spinal pathways, improving mood and reducing perception of pain.
Take exactly as prescribed, usually once daily at the same time each day. Swallow whole with water; do not crush or chew. Can be taken with or without food; taking with food may reduce nausea. Do not stop suddenly—taper only under medical advice.

Prescription-only medicine. Risk of suicidal thoughts/behavior especially in young adults at start or dose changes; monitor mood. Do not use with MAO inhibitors or within 14 days of stopping an MAOI. May cause serotonin syndrome (agitation, fever, tremor), increased blood pressure, liver injury (avoid in substantial alcohol use or liver disease), hyponatremia, glaucoma angle-closure risk, bleeding tendency (especially with NSAIDs/anticoagulants). Use caution in seizure disorder, bipolar disorder/mania, kidney impairment; may cause drowsiness—avoid driving if affected.
