Montelukast (as Montelukast Sodium) + Levocetirizine (as Levocetirizine Dihydrochloride) suspension (strengths unknown)
Allergic rhinitis (seasonal/perennial) symptoms such as sneezing, runny/blocked nose and watery eyes; adjunctive therapy in allergy-associated wheeze/asthma prevention and control as prescribed.
Levocetirizine is a second-generation antihistamine that blocks H1 receptors to reduce allergy symptoms like sneezing, itching and runny nose. Montelukast blocks leukotriene receptors (CysLT1), decreasing airway inflammation, mucus and bronchoconstriction to help relieve allergy-related nasal symptoms and prevent wheeze.
Shake well before use. Measure the dose with a calibrated spoon/cup and take exactly as prescribed, usually once daily (often in the evening). Can be taken with or without food; do not exceed the recommended dose.
Common side effects of EMKAST-L SUSP may include:

Montelukast is not for relief of acute asthma attacks; keep a rescue inhaler as advised. Consult doctor for children, pregnancy, breastfeeding, or if symptoms persist.
