Espra Xn Tablet contains Esomeprazole (20mg) + Naproxen (375mg).
Espra XN Tablet is used for pain relief.
Espra XN Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Naproxen and Esomeprazole which relieve pain. Naproxen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause fever, pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Esomeprazole is a proton-pump inhibitor.which reduces the amount of acid in the stomach and prevents damage to the stomach lining caused by Naproxen.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Espra XN Tablet is to be taken with food.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
Take the missed dose of Espra Xn as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.
Taking more Espra Xn than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.
Most side effects of Espra Xn are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:

| Pregnancy | Espra XN Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.<br>Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor. |
|---|---|
| Breastfeeding | Espra XN Tablet is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby. |
