Levodropropizine 30 mg/5 ml
Symptomatic relief of dry (non-productive) cough, irritative cough due to throat/upper respiratory tract irritation (paediatric use as prescribed).
Levodropropizine is a peripherally acting antitussive. It reduces cough by decreasing the sensitivity of cough receptors in the airways and inhibiting cough reflex pathways without significant central nervous system suppression at recommended doses.
Oral syrup. Shake well before use and measure with a calibrated spoon/cup. Give the dose as prescribed by the doctor; may be taken with or without food. Do not use for prolonged periods without medical advice; maintain adequate hydration.

Use only on medical advice in children. Not recommended for productive cough with excessive mucus unless advised by a doctor. Use with caution in asthma, severe respiratory disease, kidney impairment, or if the child is very drowsy. Stop and seek medical help if allergic reaction, breathing difficulty, persistent fever, wheeze, or cough lasts >3–5 days. Avoid other sedating cough/cold medicines unless prescribed.
