Composition of Hynidase 2 ml

Hynidase 2 ml contains Hyaluronidase Injection IP 1500 IU/2 mL (1500 IU vial with 2 mL diluent). It belongs to the Hyaluronidase enzyme (tissue permeability enhancer) class of medicines.

Uses of Hynidase 2 ml

• Adjunct to increase dispersion and absorption of injected drugs and fluids (hypodermoclysis)
• to facilitate subcutaneous/IM injections
• and to promote reabsorption of excess fluids (e.g.
• edema
• hematoma); also used as an adjunct in local anaesthesia (e.g.
• ophthalmic procedures) as per clinician.

How Hynidase 2 ml works

Hyaluronidase is an enzyme that depolymerizes hyaluronic acid in connective tissue. This temporarily decreases the viscosity of the intercellular matrix and increases tissue permeability, enhancing spread and absorption of injected solutions.

How to take Hynidase 2 ml

For injection use only, administered by a healthcare professional. Given subcutaneously, intramuscularly, or locally mixed with/alongside compatible solutions as advised. Dose and technique depend on the procedure and clinical indication; follow physician instructions and do not self-administer.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

Take the missed dose of Hynidase as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.

If you take too much

Taking more Hynidase than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.

Side effects of Hynidase 2 ml

Most side effects of Hynidase are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:

• redness
• swelling
• itching
• rash/urticaria
• headache
• nausea
• dizziness
• allergic reactions (rare)
• anaphylaxis (very rare)

Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.

Warnings and precautions

Prescription-only; use only under medical supervision. Do not use in patients with known hypersensitivity to hyaluronidase or components. Use caution in areas of infection, inflammation, or malignancy (may increase spread). Not for intravenous use. Avoid use to enhance absorption of local anaesthetics in areas supplied by end arteries (risk of ischemia). Monitor for allergic reactions; keep emergency treatment available.

Interactions with other medicines

May increase systemic absorption and effects of co-administered injectable drugs (e.g., local anaesthetics, opioids, antibiotics). Concomitant use with high-dose salicylates, corticosteroids, antihistamines, estrogens may reduce hyaluronidase effect. Avoid mixing with incompatible solutions; follow compatibility guidance.

How to store Hynidase 2 ml

Store at 2–8°C, protect from light; do not freeze. Keep in original pack. Use immediately after reconstitution; discard any unused portion as per policy.
