COX-2 inhibitors may increase risk of heart attack or stroke, especially with high doses or long use—use caution in hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, smokers. Monitor blood pressure and kidney function; stop and seek care if chest pain, shortness of breath, black stools, vomiting blood, severe rash, or facial swelling occurs.
Do not take Intacoxia if
Not for anyone with a known allergy to this medicine or to any ingredient in the pack. Not for people with an active stomach ulcer, severe kidney or heart failure, or asthma triggered by aspirin or anti-inflammatory painkillers. Not in the third trimester of pregnancy.
