Etoricoxib 90 mg
Relief of pain and inflammation in osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis; acute gouty arthritis; short-term treatment of acute pain (as prescribed).
Etoricoxib is a selective COX-2 inhibitor (NSAID) that reduces production of prostaglandins responsible for pain and inflammation. It provides anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects with less COX-1 related gastric irritation than non-selective NSAIDs.
Take by mouth as advised by a doctor, usually once daily. Can be taken with or without food (food may delay onset). Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration; swallow tablet with water.

Not recommended in severe heart failure, active peptic ulcer/bleeding, severe liver impairment, severe kidney disease, or known allergy to etoricoxib/NSAIDs. COX-2 inhibitors may increase risk of heart attack or stroke, especially with high doses or long use—use caution in hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, smokers. Monitor blood pressure and kidney function; stop and seek care if chest pain, shortness of breath, black stools, vomiting blood, severe rash, or facial swelling occurs.
