Ivecop 12 Tablet is used for this medicine is used in the treatment of worm infestation, parasitic infection, amoebiasis and giardiasis.

Ivecop 12 Tablet contains Ivermectin(12.0 Mg). It belongs to the Anthelmintic / antiprotozoal class of medicines.
Ivermectin paralyses or kills the parasite, so that it is passed out of the body.
Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not chew, crush or break it unless your doctor has told you to. Take it with food. Taking it at about the same time each day helps you remember. Follow the dose and the duration written on your prescription.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
Take it as soon as you remember. If your next dose is almost due, skip the one you missed — never take two doses together to catch up.
An overdose of this medicine can cause vomiting, abdominal cramps and nerve symptoms. Do not wait for symptoms to appear — go to the nearest emergency department and take the pack or strip with you.
Most side effects of Ivecop are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:
Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.

Treat the whole household at the same time for worm infestations, or reinfection is likely. Wash hands thoroughly after using the toilet and before eating, keep nails short, and wash bedding and underclothes in hot water. Do not drink alcohol with metronidazole, ornidazole, tinidazole or secnidazole. A repeat dose after a couple of weeks is often advised for worms — follow your doctor's instruction.
Not for anyone with a known allergy to this medicine or to any ingredient in the pack. Several medicines in this group are avoided in early pregnancy.
Tell your doctor if you take anti-epileptic medicines or a blood thinner.
Store below 30°C in the original pack, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
Take it with food unless the pack says otherwise. Boil or filter drinking water and wash vegetables well to prevent reinfection.
