Warnings and precautions
Keep applying for the full period your doctor stated, usually two to four weeks, and for a week or two after the rash has cleared. Stopping when it looks better is why ringworm keeps coming back. Apply a little beyond the visible edge of the patch — the fungus extends further than the redness. Do not use a combination cream containing a steroid on a fungal infection unless a doctor has specifically prescribed it. The steroid calms the redness while the fungus spreads underneath. See a doctor if the rash covers a large area, involves the scalp or nails, or has not improved in two weeks — these usually need tablets as well.

Do not stop early; continue using it for the full treatment duration, even if the infection improves. Stopping too soon can lead to the infection returning. Wash your hands after applying Kenz Lotion (unless you are treating your hands) to avoid spreading the infection. Avoid tight clothing and wear loose, breathable fabrics to keep the area dry and prevent irritation. Do not share towels, clothes, or personal items, as fungal infections can spread easily. Apply it about 1 inch beyond the visible edge of the infection. This helps treat areas of infection that may not be visible on the skin. Wait 20–30 minutes after application before using moisturizers or sunscreen on the same area. Do not use it on open wounds, deep cuts, or severely oozing skin unless advised by your doctor.
