Maxgalin ER 100 Tablet is an antiepileptic medication. When given for epilepsy, it is believed to work by reducing the abnormal electrical activity in the brain, thus preventing seizures. Combining it with alcohol can significantly depress the central nervous system. This leads to excessive sedation, impaired coordination, and respiratory depression (slowed or shallow breathing).
